Michelle’s Maternity Portraits

I had the pleasure of photographing my friend Michelle that I have known since we were about…..oh probably 5 years old or so.  I really can’t remember that far back to know exactly, I just remember our families going to the same church.  : )   She currently lives out of state but was back home for Easter weekend and I was able to do her maternity session for her.  Not only was it a beautiful weekend in Moses Lake, but we also got to hang out a bit and catch up on everything.  And I also got to see her daughter Rhiannon, who has grown up to be a very pretty little lady.  Well, I can’t really say little since she’s going to be really tall just like her momma!  She is already almost there and isn’t even a teenager yet.  I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend……great weather, great friends, and a little gossip!  =)  This 6′ tall beauty came out absolutely gorgeous in her portraits as did Rhiannon.

Michelle and Rhiannon; it was so great to see you both!  You guys look amazing in your pics.  Hopefully next time Bruce can make it down and we can take family pics once baby Jazmine is here!  Good luck and can’t wait to meet her!!!

Love ya ~ Conchita

Janette’s two baby belly portaits

This past Saturday I got to meet Janette, who is pregnant with twin girls!!!  Wow, how fun is that going to be?!?!  I’m sure all you parents out there are probably thinking…..um, more like very tiring!  Which yes, this is true as we all know but also SOOOOO very worth all the sleepless nights!  Janette is already the mommy of a very cute 3 year old boy, Ian (which I also took pics of & will doing a post for him too)!  So she already knows what to expect…..except its times 2, right!   =)    Janette’s two baby belly is so cute and hard to believe that there is 2 babies in there.  She is so gorgeous……just take a look for yourself!

Janette, thank you for choosing Hot Shoe Foto to do your maternity portraits.  It was great to meet you and I had lots of fun!  Best wishes to you and your family and those 2 lucky little girls!!

Love this shoot Conchita! The family pics are precious! How exciting to be having twin girls :)

Beeeaaauuutiful Keilana!!

Keilana, Keilana, Keilana!  Oh my gosh, there’s not enough words out there to describe how beautiful this little girl is!  I had so much fun photographing her in all the girlie girl stuff!  And from the looks of it I think she was loving it too!  Even though she was just a few weeks old, she was showing me her little outgoing personality already!  She is just too cute!  Newborn portraits are so fun and I get to be the lucky photographer that gets to see and hold all these precious little babies!  I love it!

Cody & Kristine, thank you for the opportunity to photograph your beautiful baby girl!  She is absolutely gorgeous!  Good job you guys and congratulations!  Your lives will be forever changed for the better!!

She is sooo BEUUUTIFFLE!!!!!
awe i love you keilanal!

Cutie Patootie Javi!!

So as you all read in “Elizabeth’s Maternity” post below how SUPER EXCITED I was when I found out they were pregnant, you could only imagine how SUPER DUPER EXCITED I was when Javi (Javier) was born!!!!!  Plus Tino and Elizabeth were keeping his name a secret, so that part was killing me too.  Javier James was born February 8th at 12:35 am and was 8 lbs 4 oz.  He was a few weeks early and we luckily did maternity portraits the week before he came!  Wow, what a close one that was!  This little guy is sooo flippin cute!  You know how some kids look way more like one parent than the other….well Javi literally took half of Elizabeth and half of Tino.  Whenever I look at him I see both mommy and daddy….equally!   He is absolute perfection!!

Tino & Elizabeth, you guys did such a great job!  Javi is beautiful!  Congratulations!

Javi is pointing at me thinking…”You better hurry it up lady!  I’m done with these pictures!”

Thanks Javi!!  You did great, but better get used to it buddy!  ; )

Awww, my little angelface! These turned out so great, Tino and are are so happy with them! You did such a great job Conchita! I can’t believe you were able to get some with his eyes open. I remember him being a little uncooperative that day…as sleepy newborns tend to be. :)

iv’e been looking for a good photographer for a long time and it seems that they all lack the luster that you produce in your portraits i can see the passion that you have good job i will recomend to all my friends

jane - April 2, 2011 - 6:17 am

OH what a beeeeautiful baaaaby…must be sung when read it…Lizzy lou-lou bell you did GOOD….with a little help from Nemo no no I mean Temo no no no that’s not right either.. I mean Tino! I was channeling grammy there for a minute! The pictures were fabulous and if only PA had someone like this I would have had great pictures from all my other nieces and nephews!

Simonsen Family

I had the pleasure of photographing the Simonsen family….Chris, Stephanie, and cutie patootie little Reese on a beautiful March day.  We totally lucked out with the weather!  As most of you Washingtonians know we don’t have the most cooperating weather at this time of year.  But lucky for us it was blue skies for days!  : )  So we hit the beach and they also showed me a very cool new train track location that I absolutely love!  Thanks Chris and Steph!!!!  Stephanie has been one of my girlfriends for years (one of the funnest I must say)!   So when she asked me if I would take family portraits for her I knew it would be lots of fun hanging out with them.  Didn’t even feel like I was really working except when we tried sticking the puppy in the picture too.  Hey, they’re family too right!!  I know I consider my kitty as family, so trying to get a puppy and a two year old to look at the camera at the same time is always a little tricky!  : )  And well it didn’t work this time….but the picture still came out really great!

Chris, Stephanie and Reese – thank you for the fun day and choosing me to take your family portraits!  You guys are great, and lots of fun to be around!  Your family is beautiful, hope to see you guys soon!

Conchita

And by the end of the shoot, Reese was hungry and it was pretty safe to say that she was done taking pictures!  I can’t blame her….I get grumpy when I’m hungry too!   : )
